His wife Dawn and they have four children. Miriam who is a college nursing
Student, Jonathan age 8 and two recently adopted children from Russia,
Benjamin age 4 and Jessica age 3. John came to know the Lord in 1979
Through the preaching of a Southern Baptist pastor in Dallas, TX. A CPA and
Full-time businessman, he has studied as a Baltimore area and is a current
Member of the Perry Hall Baptist Church in Perry Hall, Md.

James Dobson is the voice behind Washed in the Word Ministries. He is married to his wife
Suzanne who is a music teacher at Perry Hall Christian School in Perry Hall, Md. James is
Registrar at the renowned Peabody Institute of Music in Baltimore, Md. And is also a professional
Singer. He has sung for the Philadelphia Opera Company and Tanglewood Boston Symphony in
The past. Currently, he performs with Concert Artists of Baltimore and sings with his wife in the
National Christian Choir. James also gives private voice lessons in his spare time. They have
Four daughters between ages 17 and 11 and attend Perry Hall Baptist Church.
